In accordance with the Church Bylaws, Article VII, Section II (L), nominations are being solicited for “Members in Good Standing” to serve on the Elections Committee. The Elections Committee is a special committee that has a specific purpose and a time limit in which to complete their assignment. When the task is done, the committee business is completed and dismissed. 

Purpose: The purpose of this committee is to define and conduct the elections process for the election of a Senior Pastor.

Work Responsibilities:  Likely to include the following tasks:

• Establish/review rules for elections.

• Determine the balloting method (paper, electronic...)

• Set time to begin and end balloting.

• Sets up location for balloting.

• Oversees the signing in of those eligible to vote and monitors the voting process.

• Ensures the balloting starts and ends at the designated time.

• Advises the ICC Board Chair of the end of balloting.

• Fulfills other duties as needed.

The Election Committee will consist of nine active Members in Good Standing: Chair of the Board and three other Directors selected by the Board; and five active members of the Church-at-large appointed by the Board.
